I’ve been obsessed with Golden Goose Deluxe Brand for a while. They were established in the year 2000 after the collaboration between Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo in Italy. As time went on, they have become a major designer brand with boutiques in multiple countries, and it’s one that many fashion lovers are drawn to.
I’ve followed Golden Goose for ages and I would often look through what FarFetch had, as they always had an fantastic selection, but I never ended up getting any because I always found them a bit pricey and looked too similar to Converse, so they were always shoes that were just in the back of my mind. Some time back, Adam was the one who first got into the brand and he actually got his first pair of their Superstar sneakers last year, which was what made me pay more attention. Seeing his pair up close and noticing that no two pairs are alike because they’re handmade in Italy, I was more intrigued. As the Golden Goose Superstar sneakers are intentionally aged and made to seem broken-in, they are all hand done so they’re truly one-of-a-kind. Some have stronger distressing than others, so each pair is unpredictable.
